We are currently partnering an SME technology company based in South Buckinghamshire who are now looking to add a HR Manager into the team. This is a brand new role in which you'll be acting in a standalone capacity, reporting directly into the MD of the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the business and help shape the people agenda moving forward, including the set-up and running of the entire HR function. The business employs just short of 40 people across two key locations.

Ideal candidates will have standalone HR experience within an SME environment, and must be comfortable working closely with the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the company at both a strategic and operational level in relation to all HR matters.
  • Develop and roll out HR policies and procedures, including staffing requirements, skill shortages and risks to the business.
  • Assist in the overall training needs of the business, including organisation of the relevant training courses.
  • Manage all employee relations, including absences, disciplinaries, sick leave, maternity/paternity.
  • Develop competency-based pay and recognition system to aid talent recognition.
  • Oversee all recruitment into the business.
  • Manage the staff review processes, including KPI and Performance Management.
  • Partner the senior management team will all HR related matters, coaching and advising where possible.
  • Oversee and maintain the staff handbook.
  • Manage/assist with payroll across the company.
