We are pleased to be partnered with a leisure/sporting business based in Gillingham who are now seeking a Financial Controller to join the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a stable position within a growing business. You will have overall responsibility for a team of 4 and will report into the CEO.

The candidate’s responsibilities will be to:

  • Update daily cashflow and 18 month forecasts
  • Producing P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts
  • Producing monthly management accounts.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet accounts
  • Submitting VAT returns
  • Raising bank payments across the business
  • Updating weekly revenue reports for the CEO
  • Managing a team of 4
  • Checking payroll gross pay and BACS files
  • Checking HMRC are paid and PAYE on time.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience at FC or FM level.
  • Experienced within a similar type of industry (not a requirement, would be beneficial though)
  • Desirable experience in using SAGE Line 200 / Payroll (not a set requirement)
